Terms and Conditions for Dental Nurse Services
Effective Date: 01/04/2026
1. Hourly Rates
From 1st April 2026, the standard rates for Dental Nurse bookings are as follows:

Standard Rate (Weekdays): £26.00 per hour

Weekend & Specialist Rate: £29.00 per hour
The specialist rate applies to, but is not limited to:
-
Sedation
-
Orthodontics
-
Implants
-
Any role requiring additional skills or experience.
Existing Bookings:
All bookings confirmed prior to 01/04/2026 will be honoured at the previously agreed rate.
2. Same-Day Booking Fee
Bookings requested and confirmed on the same calendar day will incur an additional:

£20.00 same-day booking fee
This reflects the urgency and administrative requirements involved in sourcing last-minute cover.
3. Payment Terms
Full payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date.
Late Payment Charges

£25 fee applied after 7 days overdue

Additional £25 fee applied after 14 days overdue
The LDA (South West) Ltd reserves the right to:

Suspend future bookings
-
Withhold services
-
Pursue legal recovery of outstanding balances
4. Responsibility for Payment
The client (practice) is fully responsible for ensuring all invoices are paid in full and on time.
By confirming a booking, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
5. Cancellations
Client Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full-day rate, as the agency is unlikely to reallocate the booking at short notice.
Agency-Initiated Changes or Cancellations
While every effort is made to fulfil all confirmed bookings, The LDA (South West) Ltd reserves the right to amend or cancel bookings where necessary.
The agency shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of business, or loss of clinical income incurred by the client (practice), clinician, or any third party as a result of a cancelled or amended booking.
6. Timekeeping and Working Hours

Dental Nurses are expected to arrive promptly for all booked shifts

Any issues must be reported immediately to Jodie Cranfield (Company Director)
Timesheets
Timesheets are an agreement between The LDA (South West) Ltd and the Dental Nurse.

The client (practice) is required to sign the timesheet at the end of the shift to confirm attendance and hours worked only
-
Signature of the timesheet does not alter or reduce the agreed booking fee
The full booking fee remains payable by the client regardless of early finishes, reduced workload, or any change in clinical activity.
Early Finishes
If a clinician finishes early:

The Dental Nurse may remain to fulfil any duties the practice requires or leave at their discretion
-
The full booking period will still be chargeable
Late Finishes
If a clinician runs over:
-
Additional time will be added to the timesheet and invoiced accordingly
Time Rounding
All additional time is rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes
7. Abusive or Inappropriate Behaviour
The LDA (South West) Ltd operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour.

Dental Nurses have the right to leave any unsafe or hostile environment

In such cases, the full-day rate will still be charged
8. Uniform and Presentation
Dental Nurses will attend shifts in appropriate:
-
Professional uniform
-
Clinical footwear
9. Compliance
All Dental Nurses are fully compliant and vetted, including:
-
GDC registration
-
Enhanced DBS checks
-
Right-to-work verification
-
References and CPD records
Documentation is available upon request.
10. Introduction and Engagement of Personnel
All Dental Nurses introduced to the client by The LDA (South West) Ltd are introduced solely for the purpose of bookings arranged through the agency.
The client agrees that they will not, without prior written consent from The LDA (South West) Ltd:

Engage, employ, or otherwise directly or indirectly use the services of any Dental Nurse introduced by the agency outside of the agency
This applies during the period of introduction and for a period of 6 months following the last booking.
In the event of a breach of this clause, a fee of £550 will be payable to The LDA (South West) Ltd in respect of damages and loss of business.

12. Agreement
By engaging the services of The LDA (South West) Ltd, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
These terms are designed to ensure a professional, fair, and transparent working relationship between all parties.
